Memo to NFL media types: there are 32 teams in the National Football League, each with 53 players on the roster. That makes for a total of 1,696 players.
Could you please talk a little more about some of the other 1,693… wait, Plaxico’s suspended.. 1,694 players on those rosters? Please?
Because not only are you making people go completely insane, you’re making me care a little less about the football game I grew up with. It’s gotten to the point where I want to see more stories about Mark Sanchez becoming a rookie starter and Tom Brady being a threat to my PC, just to break the monotony of it all. Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

I would dearly love to know what the hell the NAACP is doing holding a pro-Vick rally. I mean, if somebody’s going to stage an anti-protest against the SPCA, shouldn’t it be something like the Society for the Promotion of Cruelty to Animals?
