Bengals Fans Have Something to Say

November 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I probably shouldn’t pick on the Cincinnati Bengals right now, considering that my Pittsburgh Steelers are sitting on the precipice of something quite ugly, but I’m pretty sure every Bengals fan out there would prefer to have a team with the Steelers’ problems. It would be a nice change of pace for them.

Meanwhile, Lions fans have officially given up and are encouraging their NFL franchise to leave town. That should make Daunte Culpepper feel better about his current situation, no?

I always thought that the Lions should just move across the border to Windsor and play in the CFL. They might win a game there, and they’ll bring another team to the Eastern Division, along with the new Ottawa expansion team, allowing Winnipeg to move back to the West. Then, the NFL can just add an expansion team in LA, and shift the Rams to the NFC North.

As for there already being a team named the Lions in the CFL – well, that was never a problem before, was it?
