And Now, Maria Sharapova Throwing a Football
I know what you’re thinking. Can she torpedo punt like Jimmy Bartel? Maybe we’ll find out prior to the Australian Open.
By the way, if this space seems sparse lately, it’s because I’ve been focusing on writing for FanHouse — in part because the strange sinus-and-lung ailment I developed after inhaling that smoke bomb at the Railhawks v. Battery game still hasn’t cleared up, and the forthcoming medical bills aren’t going to pay for themselves. I’ve got tomorrow off, though, and I’m planning on liveblogging the UEFA Champions League Final for AOL in the afternoon. Point your browser here to read my latest stuff and follow along with tomorrow’s festivities.
(Hats off to Busted Coverage for finding the video.)

Very nice, but Maria Sharapova is grossly over-clothed in this video. Please rectify.
What is your opinion of the apparent crises at Chelsea that the media is now expecting ? 3 years and the GDP of a small country spent and success is not what you would expect . Time for a clear out and to start again or is it all the change and lack of team building that’s screwing Chelsea?
Will be see a couple post dedicated to latest form of soccer

Simon: I wouldn’t call it a crisis, but Chelsea is going to blow a lot more of Roman’s cash to tinker with its lineup. Drogba and Shevchenko gone, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Makelele, Lampard and Anelka gone as well. There will be a managerial change as well. It’ll be either Rikjaard or Sven.
Still, it gets back to the old adage that money can’t buy you happiness. It doesn’t buy you a title all that often, either.
