Brian: Honestly, I'm not sure Indiana will get that far. They lost 3 of 4 coming into the tourney, and they look like they've given up on the season since figuring out who their coach is.

That said, D.J. White v. Tyler Hansbrough would be the biggest matchup of overachievers this side of Barnsley v. Cardiff, only with more talent.

Dave, how are you feeling about the potential UNC-Indiana matchup in the second round? You're going to be a lonely figure in your crimson and cream...

Tony: That's one reason why I'd like to see some other sports network with some leftover airtime give the AFL a go. If we're only going to get 2 games a week, we shouldn't have to pay an extra $15 a month to watch them. It's enough to make me go back to BitTorrent, really.

Ando: I'll be in touch once I've gotten over my acute case of March Madness...

While I was tremendously happy that I was watching the Cats win and not listening on the net, as I have done for the last few years, I was let down by the lack of a more robust AFL schedule on Setanta. This if my first year as a subscriber, and as I am not a soccer fan, all I will be getting out of it is 1 to 3 Footy games a week, the AFL highlights show and some NRL from time to time. I can’t believe they cant show at least 4 or 5 games.

[...] Port Adelaide dominated the Ruck with the absence of Otttens and should have made more use of it. They missed a perfect opportunity there. Also is was very evident that they need some experience in the back half as Mooney and “Tomahawk” Tom Hawkins exploited this in the first half. Brett Ebert looked dangerous and Chad Cornes is an out and out GUN. The Power have a bit of work to do in the defensive half and will no doubt be working on that during the week. It was a good game to watch and Dave from Dave’s Football Blog is sorry he missed the game. [...]

Dave

If you ever need a hand to write some content on AFL Football then I would be more than happy to do a weekly wrap or something for you. It may just lighten your workload a bit.

It was great to see the season start and the Grand Final Re Match was certainly entertaining. Geelong are showing that they certainly should be favorites again.

Shoot me an email Dave and we can chat.....
