Today is Valentine’s Day, or as I like to call it, The Vast Conspiracy Among Florists, Jewelers and Greeting Card Companies to Coerce You Into Spending Lots of Money on Your Wife or Girlfriend Because If You Don’t You’ll Never See Them Naked Again Day. Of course, that still doesn’t mean she’s more important than football.
Girlfriends across the nation have their worst fears confirmed: a national survey of football supporters shows that men would put football before love on Valentine’s Day.
So for all the lonely souls out there, here’s a little something to cheer you up: Brazil’s naked referee! Ana Paula de Oliveira posed for Playboy in Brazil a few months ago, which was great for us, but bad for her career. However, you can’t really stop a white-hot Brazilian woman from getting what she wants (see: Gisele Bundchen), and thus de Oliveira was back on the sideline last weekend, making offside calls in a Paulista Championship match.
