I'm recapping two NFL games for AOL Sunday afternoon -- Seahawks @ Panthers, and Falcons @ Bucs, both of which start at 1:00 PM. In order to get a prime spot at a pub and watch both games, I have to leave at noon. That's halftime of the London derby. At this stage, I would so rather watch all of Arsenal v. Chelsea than get have to sit through both of those loser NFL games -- <i>especially</i> when a <i>good</i> NFL game (Jaguars @ Steelers) is on at the same time. And I'm not even a Gooner or a Blues fan! It's always football season somewhere, but when those seasons overlap, it's a royal pain in the ass to blog about them all. You know what the sad thing is? As a homebrewer ive come across quite a few funny terms while teaching myself the art. In brewing, a butt refers generically to a large cask. Sometimes indicating a specific capacity of around 3 barrels (108 gallons). a bung is the stopper used to plug a bunghole in a cask of british real ale. Cue "the more you know" gold star ... but you may just want to pick up a sixer of the Entire Butt Porter for the Seahawks/Panthers game ... as Carolina will definitely be eating ass that day.
