AFC / NFC Playoff Picture

Longtime readers of this blog — all seven of you — may recall that I used to write up the detailed AFC & NFC playoff pictures here around this time. I moved those posts to NFL FanHouse last year, and guess what? They’re back again this year. You can check them out here and here.

For even more fun, check out those highly intelligent comments — especially in the AFC post, where some guy complains that I’m disrespecting Seattle Seahawks by not including them. The Seahawks moved to the NFC in 2002. We attract all the smartest readers at FanHouse…

“We attract all the smartest readers at FanHouse…”

Ah, yes, like the glittering geniuses who opine that soccer is a “third world sport”. It’s true. You simply can’t get to Wembley stadium these days what with all the donkey carts and street urchins blocking traffic along the muddy unpaved streets of London.

    a different dave,

Hehe. No wonder England didn’t qualify for Euro 2008, and Michael Beckman left Man U for LA; they can’t play out in the streets!

Dave O’Brien, ESPN’s head Association Football PBP guy, referred to David Beckham as “Michael Beckman” during the most recent World Cup.

I remember those posts. I miss them. I’m the one regular long-time reader who’s also a Vikings fan (if I remember correctly) and I talked a lot of smack until the Steelers ended Minnesota’s 6-game win streak on their way to SuperBowl victory.

    (sigh)

I’ll check out your post at Fanhouse.
