The Australian Football League has slapped Ben Cousins with a 12-month ban for “conduct unbecoming and likely to prejudice the interest of the AFL.” So I guess he won’t be playing for Port Adelaide just yet.

He’s probably going to play for his old Western Australian Football League club East Fremantle.

East Fremantle are in the box seat at the moment for sure, considering that is his home club outside of the AFL, and he is a contracted player there. The WAFL and East Fremantle are meeting next month I beleive to determine whether he will be able to play in the Western Australian Foootball League.
East Fremantle would be mad not to allow him to I reckon, can you imagine the hype surrounding every game he plays. Gold mine for the club.

How can this guy be so stupid?
TV footage here in Australia has shown Cousins in a Gold Coast hotel room partying with his mates. Cousins was sitting at the table with his mates, gets up walks in between his mates and bends down over the table, the reporter says he was holding his nostril. I am sure he was just smelling the hamburger and chips.
If it wasn’t the end for him already it sure must be now !!
