Here’s something I know y’all will love — old men talking trash. Mercury Morris, one of the members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins, would like to remind the New England Patriots and their fans that only his team finished an NFL season undefeated, and all the rest of you can piss right off.
Want to know what’s really funny? A couple of years ago, I met a big Dolphins fan in a bar in Raleigh. He showed me his Dolphins tattoo…

Then he left this comment here a few days later:
I am the guy you photod with the Dolphin tattoo on my back and I have mercury morris’s 72 Super Bowl ring. He sold it to me back in bad old days. What a collectors piece huh?
No wonder ol’ Mercury is a such bitter old fart. He probably sold that ring to support his cocaine habit. I wonder if anyone in Los Angeles has any of Ben Cousins’ 2006 Grand Final memorabilia…

Dear Mr. Morris:
Saw an interview where you said that the Pats weren’t “…even in (your) neighborhood yet”. Um, think they’re not only in your neighborhood, they’re in your HOUSE, and probably doing your wife (do you even have a wife?)! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

I wouldn’t judge Morris because he developed a drug habit, became desperate, did some desperate things. That’s who he is. Under different circumstances most men might have behaved the same. He is a desperate person trying to hold onto the past. If anything, I feel sorry for him. I hope he milks this Pats going undefeated thing as long as possible. Something tells me it’s all he’s got left.

No matter how much Pats fans want to bellyache & claim that the world is out to get them (even though every facet of the media has been fellating them for YEARS…not just this season), Mercury Morris is RIGHT.
The Dolphins are the only undefeated team in NFL history…period. Of course, the Pat-fellating media wants to make sure that the Pats get a piece of that pie by saying “the Pats are the only team to go undefeated in the 16 game regular season”. Well, I’ve got news for everyone, 16-0 will mean NOTHING if they do not win the Super Bowl b/c that is the ONLY way the Pats can be mentioned in the same breath as the ’72 Fins. & even IF the Pats do win the SB, Morris is STILL RIGHT…the BEST the Pats can do is TIE the Fins.
& excuse me, but when did it become a crime to want your record to stand? Screw chivalry, this is competition. You are not supposed to root for someone to break your record. Only people who are homers, or have never participated in a competitive endeavor will claim that. The only records that people root for others to break are the dubious ones…like interceptions thrown, etc. The Pats have to EARN the record first. So lay off Morris (and the rest of the ’72 squad)…for now. Now, IF the Pats win the Super Bowl, & he DOESN’T congratulate them then, THEN you can get on him for being a bitter person. Unless that happens, all you guys are doing is whining…in typical Boston fashion.

That was the first time I had seen that interview. Mercury Morris should really chill out, instead of the coke he is doing, he might want to try heroin. No Patriots were talking about the record there crackie Morris, just the media. What shelter did they interview him in front of btw?

Hey Merc, your still on coke. Go fuck yourself, you were never great. If you were clean, you could’nt carry the one foot Rocky Blier. I forgot Miami went undefeated with coked up players and a kicker who liked young boys. Roll up another hundred….ooops sorry, forgot you went to prison and broke. Roll up a monopoly buck, snort and shut the fuck up loser.

Hey Chris
Looks like you were bored on New Years Eve!!! Didn’t get invited to Merc’s house for a few lines? The Pats are not only in Merc’s house doing his wife, they’re eating his steak too!! lol Fuck him, Shula and the rest of the geriatic gang in Miami, the Patriots simply rule and the rest of NFL nation is jealous. Can’t wait for the parade (again yawnnnnn)……..

I almost hope there isnt another undefeated run, just so I dont have to hear Mercury Morris’ voice again. Records are meant to be broken. Ex-players should welcome a record breaking challenge with a smile, if he can’t do that he has no business speaking of sports or sportsmanship. An old man with nothing left to grasp but a 35 year old record, should be selling women’s shoes and complaining about fat women’s feet. Not “rapping” on espn. Shame on espn for puting his dumb ass all over MY t.v.

Typical negative, hypocritical whiners from New England….
18-1 and the biggest flop since the Colts – Jets debacle.
17-0 is alive and well. Put that in your pipe and take a big, long hit.

Mercury Morris is a genius. Most of you jackasses never saw the guy play and all you know about Mercury is the cocaine problem he has long since beaten. The Pats are a farce and the Giants showed it last night. The Pats have been getting the calls since 2001 and when the refs finally let the game be played….THE PATS SHOWED THEIR TRUE COLORS.
You folks that blast Mercury Morris could not talk one on one with the man because he would break you down with his intellect. The man should be on tv and hell he probably could be on court tv because if nancy grace had a show there, then surely a man with Mercurys intellect could also have a show on that network.
All these talk show hosts will blast Mercury today I am sure…but will any of them have the balls to have him on and challenge the man.
Damn Obama or Hillary..MERCURY MORRIS FOR PRESIDENT!
18-1 MEANS NOTHING….GOODNIGHT MR BRADY.
BILLICHEAT HAS NO CLASS AND HE SHOWED IT YESTERDAY AFTER THE GAME. That’s who you should blast…not the great Mercury Morris

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!
So that’s why they call them the Pats!
When Belachick goes to jail for defrauding the NFL will they give him Morris’ old cell?
Forever humiliating and done!!
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ah!!!!

@Bob Burns- It wasn’t a shelter, it was your mamma’s house!
@Rick- 3 Super bowls, finished in the top five of the NFL in rushing touchdowns twice and total touchdowns once during his nine-year career. How does that compare to your oil changing career? I’m sure you’re great too!
@Nick- Tell your wife that I’m not letting her snort lines off of my dick anymore! She’s got you to thank. You going to look real stupid wearing your Patriots jersey at the parade.
@Kim- I’m doing you…….girl!

You all need to quit. This man wa a part of something that 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of anyone above or below ground knows nothing about. If you EVER do anything that comes close (and I doubt you ever will) then you can talk about how he should behave. Get a life losers. This man has been everything you WANT to be.

Roscoe: You mean deep down inside, we all want to become cocaine addicts? No, thanks.

18-1 knocks the Pats from possibly the greatest team of all time to behind 41 other teams that won the only game of the season that counts . . .
they aren’t even the best 18-1 team ever . . . other teams have had one loss and atleast won the superbowl.
i love it!
23 Pats Choker // Feb 5, 2008 at 6:19 pm
Mercury Morris is the man!
You know how much money he made on commercials and appearences and such . . .
Enough money to buy a home movie theatre and replay the biggest football choke of all time OVER AND OVER AND OVER!
and if he wants he can do all the coke and drink all the champagne he wants while watching it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!
thank you Tom, Bill, Junior, and the rest of the gang for making my week!

Guess what … the Yanks won the world series in ’96, ’98, ’99, ’00 and you know all that Boston fans think about . . . The ’04 collapse.
Want to know what I think of Past Patriot Championships . . . that’s what they are THE PAST, the choke is the present, and now Tom Brady and his Master can go be classless together all off-season long.
Good luck next year Pats with no confidence, your old fart LBs being one year older, and everyone in the league knowing how to play you hard, and every coach in the NFL knowing what a jerk-off YOUR coach is.
GREATEST SUPERBOWL I HAVE EVER SEEN!

New England Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews pleaded not guilty to drug possession Tuesday, hours after authorities said they found him with a half-pound of marijuana.
So much for your fucking choir boys!!!!!!!!

Most disappointing season in the history of the NFL.
The best part is that as a player or a coach after you have been this close and blown it, I am not sure you can ever fully recover mentally.
They have the whole league rooting against them AND their fans and I really hope this whole SpyGate thing blows up bigger than we can imagine right now.
This was such a major collapse I am saying Pats 9-7, 10-6 best next season. And Randy Moss goes elsewhere because he isn’t going to want to stay for a money cut without that ring . . . especially after that weak postseason.
