I'd be the first to admit that I know very little about the NFL but I really think that more effort should have been made to explain the game to the casual viewer. Okay that might have been dumbing it down for any fans of the game watching the BBC coverage, but wasn't a large part of the reason for the game an attempt to get neutrals to watch it?
