Apparently, someone in Baltimore declared open season on Australians — I’m looking at you, Ray-Ray — and rookie linebacker Antwan Barnes answered the call with a cheap shot on Saverio Rocca. Barnes should have gotten penalized for leading with the helmet, which is punishable by fines in the NFL, but Sav’s been toughened by AFL hits, so he got through it okay.
Have I mentioned that I loathe the Ravens? Yes? Well, I still do. Bastards.

Great vid… there’s 30 other punters out there that would be on IR after a hit like that.
What makes me laugh about this vid is the commentary. These american ignoramuses. Seriously, the commentator right at the end says, “Welcome to NFL football, a little different from aussie rules.” Yeah it is different numb nuts, you take away ALL the protection and the prissy pants and you get hit TWICE as hard as that sissy hit sav. You all know none of these ‘don’t touch me once i’ve dropped the ball’ girls would last five minutes in the AFL!
