It's odd--when Red McCombs owned the Vikes, this type of story filled me with trembling dread. Now, though I'd sympathize with whatever fans lost their team, I'm mostly indifferent.

The folks here in Kansas City are about to vote on a tax to pay for modifications to Arrowhead Stadium (and Kauffmann stadium for the Royals), including adding a rolling roof. The team's leases are up at the end of the year if the intitive does not pass.

SO people in support of the tax are using the threat of the teams moving to LA to leverage their side. Hall-of-famer Marcus Allen apparently is one of those that believes LA is VERY interested in the Chiefs if the initiative does not pass. So, maybe there IS NFL interest in LA... or maybe not...
