It’s over

Published by Dave at 11:54 pm under Old DFB Archives

The Colts still have a 23-7 lead with 2 minutes left. Unless Ryan Fitzpatrick shows up to sprinkle some magic dust on the Steelers, it’s all over but the shouting. Pittsburgh got throttled. They made some stupid mistakes, too.

I’m continuing to remind myself that next week’s game is much more important to the Steelers’ season, but it’s cold comfort right now. That’s two things I didn’t get for my birthday.

I’ll post the updated playoff pictures tomorrow afternoon. I’m considering making the Original Steakhouse & Sports Theatre my home base for blogging next season. I still have a few places to visit before this season is done, though…

    Hey Dave,

Yep, yesterday hurt. Thankfully, I had to work on a presentation for a graduate class this morning and was able to turn off the game at halftime, which looks like it was the right move.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish a belated happy birthday. Just remember that Pittsburgh can still spank Cinci, though that’s cold comfort if Kansas City somehow slows down Denver *sigh*.

Hey Dave, I love reading your comments and love even more that you are considering making my restaurant your home base. Next time you come in introduce yourself and I’ll return the kind gestures you’ve shown in your articles. Thank you, Dennis Everhart GM The Original Steakhouse
