Gamenight
I have a lot of issues I still have to cover regarding this week’s games — the return of Tedy Bruschi in New England, the emergence of Marion Barber III in Dallas, the bunch-up in the NFC South, the collapse of the Buccanneers’ running game, the rodeo cowboy who’s now quarterbacking the 49ers, and the continuing issues I have with Carolina’s running game.
But first things first. It’s another Monday night in Pittsburgh. Billick’s Bastards are coming to town, minus Ray Lewis, minus Ed Reed, and minus any semblance of an offence. Bill Cowher is 13-0 in Monday Night Football games in Pittsburgh. (CORRECTION 11/01: Cowher was 10-0 in MNF home games going into this one.) Regardless of what you may think of the collapsing Baltimore Ravens, Cowher isn’t taking this team lightly, but that may be because of the state of the division. Cincinnati beat Green Bay yesterday, and Pittsburgh, still a game behind the Bengals, need this win to keep pace in the division race.
Time to saddle up and head out for this one…

13-0? Why was ABC saying he was 10-0 and moved to 11-0 with last night’s win?
Who do I trust?
Sweet win, by the way.
Ack, that was an error on my part. A quick Google search showed that Cowher was indeed 10-0 in Monday night home games going into last night’s game. This will be fixed.
ABC pays people to do actual research, y’know. I’m just some dude with a blog…
Ah. Well, that’s ok. I still trust you. In any event, Bill Cowher is the man.
